Payment & Shipping Policies
Our Payment Methods:
Credit Cards
We accept all major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, American
Express and Discover. Please note that while an authorization hold will
be placed on your credit card account when you complete your purchase
at checkout, your credit card account will not be charged until your
purchase is shipped.
PayPal and Google Checkout
You can also pay for your purchase through PayPal or Google Checkout.
Simply choose your desired payment option at checkout and you will be
taken to the third-party payment site to complete your purchase and pay
for your item.
Debit Cards
While we encourage our customers to use their credit cards as payment,
we also accept payment by debit card. Please be advised that banks do
NOT treat debit or checking cards like a credit card. They often will
put two "holds" on your funds. First, your funds are held for
verification purposes each time you place an order. Then the funds are
held a second time when your shipment is processed. Please understand
that there is nothing that we can do on our end to resolve this. These
holds are internal banking functions of the bank that handles your
debit card account. Additionally, be aware that a pre-authorization is
NOT a charge; it only checks your account for available funds, holds
those funds, and checks the address information you provided against
the card company's records. The "hold" on your funds will eventually
drop off the account after a short timeframe that is determined by your
bank's policies. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this
banking procedure may cause you and hope you understand that it is your
bank placing these holds on your account.
Our Shipping Policies
We ship Monday through Friday to the US and all around the world, via
FedEx, UPS and the US Postal Service! While the majority of our
products can be shipped outside of the US, please note that some
products may not be shippable to APO/AE Boxes or to International

purchase if you have any questions about shipping and we will be happy
to assist you.

Orders less than $99 - Calculates at the Actual Rate our Carrier charges
Orders shipped to Hawaii, Alaska, Canada and other International destinations:

Our Shipping timelines
Items shipping within the US will typically ship within 1 day of
purchase when shipped from our warehouse in New York, or within 3 days
of purchase if the item is shipped to you directly from the
manufacturer’s warehouse. Items purchased after hours on the weekend or
on a holiday will usually ship the next business day. Shipments sent to
any street address in the US usually ship via FedEx home delivery or
UPS ground, with delivery typically made in 3 to 5 business days. Items
shipping to PO Boxes or APO/AP/AE Boxes ship via USPS Priority Mail and
usually deliver in 3 to 5 business days. International shipments are
made through USPS International Priority Mail Service and typically
deliver within 14 business days, unless otherwise noted.
While we strive to ship and deliver as fast as possible, these
timelines may change on occasion due to high volume sales periods,
weather interruptions or due to temporary back-order status. We will
make contact within 24 hours of purchase if any of these situations
occur, so that you are aware of the status of your order. Since your
credit card is not charged until your purchase has shipped, you will
have the option to either wait a little longer for your item to ship,
or to cancel your order with us.
Shipping Insurance
Insurance is always recommended to protect against loss or damages, but
it is optional on shipments made in the US. Insurance on international
shipments is included with USPS International Priority Shipping, up to
$400.
US Taxes
Currently US sales tax is not charged on items purchased online, except
for items bought by New York State purchasers because that is where our
business is located. The amount of tax charged will be based on your
address. This is the law and is non-negotiable.
Duty/VAT and Import Taxes on international purchases
Non-US purchasers shipping items internationally will be subject to
Duty/VAT and/or import taxes upon receipt of the item in your country.
These import taxes are not included in the USPS International Priority
Mail shipping price. These fees are paid by the purchaser to your
country as a percentage of the value of the item you are importing into
your country. Please check locally to see what percentage of tax you
will be charged, as this amount differs by country. Since we are a
retail business, your customs form will list your purchase as
merchandise, so it will not be listed as a gift on the customs form. We
are obligated by law to list your item this way.
